1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Latino Directory UK website (“the Directory”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using the Directory, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the website immediately.

The Directory is operated as a community project and is provided on an “as is”, “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.

2. Purpose of the Directory
The Directory is an informational platform that displays business listings and community information.
We do not verify, and we make no representation or warranty regarding:

• the legitimacy, licences, or legal status of businesses,

• the quality, safety, or suitability of their products or services,

• the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided,

• whether a business continues to operate.

• Nothing on the Directory is an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee.

Users must conduct their own independent checks before engaging with any business.

3. No Agency, No Partnership, No Responsibility for Third Parties
The Directory is not:

• an agent of any listed business,

• a representative, partner, or affiliate,

• responsible for transactions, disputes, contracts, payments, bookings, communications, or outcomes between users and businesses.

Any dealings between users and listed businesses are entirely at their own risk.

4. Featured Listings, Contributions and Promotional Placement
Businesses may request to appear in a Featured Listing. Any contributions received are voluntary and support the costs of hosting, tools, and maintenance.

A contribution does not guarantee:

• visibility placement,

• approval of content,

• the duration of the listing, or

• any endorsement or verification.

Featured Listings constitute promotional placement under UK consumer law.

We reserve the absolute right to refuse, edit or remove any listing at any time for any reason.

5. Business-Submitted Content and Permissions
Businesses may submit information, logos, images, or other materials.
By submitting content, you confirm that:

you have the legal right to provide it;
it does not infringe intellectual property rights;
it is accurate and lawful;
you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, publish and display the content for Directory purposes.
We may remove or modify content without notice.

6. Use of Publicly Available Images
Where a business approves being listed, we may select images from its publicly accessible website or social media accounts for the purpose of representing the business in the Directory.

Businesses may request removal or replacement of any image at any time.

7. Prohibited Use

You must not:
misuse the website or attempt to disrupt its operation,
copy, scrape, extract, or reproduce the Directory’s database without permission,
upload unlawful, offensive, or misleading content,
use the Directory for illegal or harmful purposes.
We may suspend or block access at our discretion.

8. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, layout, design, code, and structure of the Directory (except business-submitted content) belong to us.

You must not copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit any part of the Directory without written permission.

9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We do not guarantee that information (including business hours, locations, services, prices, photos, or descriptions) is accurate or up to date.
We accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from reliance on Directory content.
Use of the Directory is entirely at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to this, we exclude all liability for:

• any direct, indirect, or consequential loss;

• loss of profits, revenue, business, or data;

• reputational damage;

• errors, omissions, interruptions, or website failure;

• inaccuracies or misrepresentations in business listings;

• actions or omissions of listed businesses;

• user reliance on information provided.

Our maximum liability to any user, under any circumstances, shall not exceed £1.

(This is a legally enforceable symbolic limit for non-consumer contractual relationships.)

11. Indemnity 
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Directory, its creator(s), contributors, and affiliates from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

• your use or misuse of the Directory,

• your reliance on information provided,

• your interactions or disputes with businesses,

• your breach of these Terms,

• your submission of content.

12. External Links
The Directory may contain links to third-party websites.
We have no control over the content, policies, reliability, or security of external sites and accept no liability for them.

13. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is governed by our separate Privacy Policy, available on the website.

14. Changes to the Directory
We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Directory at any time without notice.

We may also revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
