This section features charities supporting Latino communities in the UK through social causes, advocacy, and community aid. These organisations raise funds, provide essential support, and work to uplift and empower Latin American communities.


OCA COMMUNITY KITCHEN
We are Oca Community Kitchen, a community led project providing nourishing food to those who need it most. Every donation helps us offer warm meals, food bank–style support, and cooking classes for low-income families in London, creating solidarity and care through food.

EMPODERANDO FAMILIAS
We are Empoderando Familias, a collaboration between King’s College London and Citizens UK. We empower Spanish-speaking parents in South London through community organising and education, helping them address the barriers they face and become stronger advocates for their families.

AGAPE ROPERO
We are Agape Ropero, a free community wardrobe for Spanish speakers in need of clothing, bedding, toys, shoes, and more. Based on Meadow Row, SE1 6RG, we support our community with care, solidarity, and essential items.

FEWP
We are Family Emotional Wellbeing Project working for the mental health and overall wellbeing of migrants with a focus with the Latin American communities, we run workshops in mental health, dance therapy movement, creative workshops, education, prevention workshops and activities.

FAMILIAS NEURODIVERSAS
We are Familias Neurodiversas, an association created by parents who came together to build a space of support, understanding, and connection. We work to raise awareness of neurodiversity in all its forms and to ensure neurodivergent children and young people have real opportunities to socialise, learn, and grow in inclusive environments.
Through community gatherings, workshops, and activities, we support families who often face a lack of understanding and limited resources. We continue building community, breaking barriers, and advocating for diversity as a value that strengthens and transforms us all.

IRMO
IRMO has been led by and for the Latin American community for over 40 years, building deep trust and strong relationships while working towards a future where Latin Americans can fully access their rights, live free from poverty and discrimination, and pursue their aspirations without barriers.
IRMO supports Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking migrants, including asylum seekers and refugees, as they build their lives in the UK. Through frontline services, advocacy, and community development, the organisation promotes autonomy, participation, and long-term wellbeing for individuals and families.
Its holistic, culturally sensitive support includes high-quality advice, social support, and development opportunities for all ages, delivered in Spanish and Portuguese. IRMO also works towards lasting social and systemic change through advocacy, research, and strategic partnerships.

UNITED HEARTS
United Hearts is a non-profit organisation working to support people affected by vulnerability and different forms of violence, including physical, psychological, sexual, and economic harm. The organisation focuses on raising awareness, offering accompaniment, and promoting dignity for those impacted by gender-based violence and discrimination.
Through community education, support initiatives, and advocacy work, United Hearts seeks to encourage understanding, prevention, and social change.

CARE VENEZUELA
Care Venezuela is a UK-based charity formed by Venezuelan volunteers living in the United Kingdom. The organisation provides support to vulnerable communities in Venezuela by collecting and sending essential supplies such as medicines, food, hygiene products, and other basic goods to local partners and community groups across multiple cities.
Care Venezuela works with NGOs and volunteers to help improve wellbeing and dignity in areas affected by humanitarian challenges, focusing on access to essentials where they are limited or absent.

CHILDREN CHANGE COLOMBIA
Children Change Colombia is a UK charity and international children’s organisation working to transform the lives of vulnerable children in Colombia. Founded in the early 1990s, the charity has dedicated over three decades of work to protecting, empowering and supporting children and young people who face extreme challenges including poverty, violence, armed conflict, exclusion from education and sexual and gender-based violence.
Through strong partnerships with grassroots organisations across Colombia, Children Change Colombia has funded and delivered dozens of projects, helping tens of thousands of children overcome trauma and claim their rights to safety, education and opportunity. Its work spans protection and reintegration programmes, advocacy, community support, capacity-building and cultural initiatives both in Colombia and within the Colombian diaspora in the UK.
The charity relies on donations, fundraising, volunteering and community engagement to sustain its impact and invites supporters to get involved to help challenge poverty, inequality and violence for Colombia’s most at-risk children.
